This inspection kit provides a practical solution for professionals working in hazardous environments. It is certified for ATEX and IECEx Zone 2 and Zone 22, making it suitable for industrial sites where flammable gas or combustible dust may be present.
The kit simplifies inspections of elevated or hard-to-reach areas. It includes the Armadex OZC 3 camera, a 10 m carbon fibre mast and a Zone 2/22 certified device. No Wi-Fi or cellular connection is required, which keeps the setup reliable in remote locations and inside structures where signal is poor.
Armadex OZC 3 digital camera
The OZC 3 camera combines durability with advanced functionality. It offers 4K video, 12 MP stills and a 4x optical zoom for detailed inspection at distance.
Specialised modes improve inspection quality, including construction mode for dusty environments and macro mode for close-ups from 1 cm. Further features include environmental logging, an LED flash for low-light conditions and image stabilization for smooth video capture.
10 m carbon fibre mast
The inspection and survey mast provides a safe, fast and stable way to reach elevated positions, making it well suited to roofs, solar panels and industrial assets. It extends to 10.8 m and retracts to 1.61 m for easy transport.
Unlike thin-walled, narrow-diameter poles, this mast is wider and considerably more stable, which keeps the image steady during inspection. Compared with drones, scaffolding or lifts it is a far more cost-effective option, and at 3.2 kg it remains easy to carry and deploy by one person.
Compatible devices
The setup works with a wide range of ATEX Zone 2 / Zone 22 devices, giving you the freedom to choose the device that fits your workflow.
It can also be combined with the Armadex Ex UniCase, which allows standard tablets such as iPads or Windows devices to be used safely in hazardous areas. This makes it straightforward to upgrade or switch devices without replacing the certified enclosure.
