The Baker AWA-IV static motor analyser is a strategic advancement in motor insulation assessment technology. This sophisticated instrument automatically performs repeatable, user-programmable tests to comprehensively evaluate motor insulation strength and circuit integrity. The AWA-IV ensures quality assurance for motor rebuilds and new production motors before deployment into service environments. 

Intuitive Operation and Precise Results 

The AWA-IV features an intuitive touch-screen user interface that delivers accurate, repeatable results regardless of operator skill level. This comprehensive testing solution performs both high- and low-voltage assessments, detecting problems that conventional low-voltage testers cannot identify. The system conducts resistance, Megohm, polarisation index (PI), dielectric absorption (DA), HiPot, ramp voltage, step voltage, and surge tests as part of its complete testing ecosystem. 

Intelligent Monitoring and Data Management 

The analyser's embedded computer orchestrates test execution, stores comprehensive results, and continuously monitors voltage levels throughout testing procedures. When the system detects insulation weakness during testing, it automatically interrupts the test sequence, alerts the operator, and reports all critical parameters at the interruption point. Results are presented through clear, easy-to-understand graphs and reports that provide motor maintenance professionals with actionable intelligence.
