LTW425
- Two-wire non-tripping loop tester
- 50 V to 440 V operation
- 110 V centre-tap loop testing
- CAT IV installation testing
- Auto start operation
- 0.001 Ω resolution
The LTW425 is a two-wire non-tripping high resolution loop tester for verifying the loop impedance of a live electrical circuit, i.e., without the need to disconnect the electrical supply. The instrument has a two-wire loop testing solution that does not trip 30 mA RCDs and can be used on a wide range of voltages.
The LTW425 offers a high current high resolution loop test to three decimal places. This is ideal for establishing the correct Ze on an incoming supply, especially on PME installations. Results of this test can also be used to calculate higher PFC results. To that end, the LTW425 can calculate up to 40 kA using the 0.001 Ω high current, resolution test range. The calculation uses the measured loop impedance and the measured line voltage to calculate the appropriate PFC.
Is the MFT-X1 easy to upgrade?
Absolutely. It can be upgraded with additional test methods, features and firmware updates using the file provided on this page.
Can I use the MFT-X1 outdoors?
Can I use the MFT-X1 outdoors?
Can I get a UKAS calibration certificate for the MFT-X1?
Yes, but this must be requested when the instrument is being purchased, as we need to know the users details.
Do I need a calibration certificate?
The instrument is shipped with a production calibration certificate that is traceable to national standards.
Do I need any additional accessories to use the instrument?
The MFT-X1 is supplied with a wide range of test leads for most applications, but for testing EV car chargers you will require the Megger EVCA adaptor. For earth resistance testing using the 3 wire ART method you will require the additional MCC1010 earth clamp. For the Stakeless earth testing you will require the MVC1010 clamp and the MCC1010 clamp.
Why should I choose the X1 over the other Multifunction options?
The MFT-X1 is firmware upgradeable, so you can update the functionality with the latest functions, features and changes to testing standards as soon as Megger release them, free of charge.
